Singur everywhere

I dont want to enter deep into what went wrong in TATA's project at Singur. How much the Madame of Kolkata is responsible I have no idea. But with my personal experience I know one thing, that villagers should be educated regarding progress. I have personally ran a factory in one of the villages near Mumbai, and I know for the fact, that except for their annual donation collections, these people are not at all interested in helping the industry run in their village. They always tend to trouble you the most. Firstly they wont allow outside labour to work over there, and they also themselves dont want to work.

They need to understand, with one Industry coming up and thriving, more will soon come up. This will lead to good infrastructure by way of road, electricity and water. With more Industries, will come more number of people. This will lead to development of residences. With residences will come schools, hospitals. It will take time, but such a village will certainly grow in long term. The villagers life will certainly improve by a little patience.

What Singur people are loosing out is a path to progress. and if the Madame of Kolkata is fighting against such progress, then God help the state if she comes to power.
